Rice Lake supports one of Ontario's largest and most productive inland fisheries, producing more fish per acre than any other lake in Ontario. The healthy mix of panfish and their predators mean there is fish for every level of angling skill. Whether it is trolling from a boat or casting a bobber from the edge of a floating dock, the thrill of pulling in a fighting, thrashing finny prize is available to everyone.
Springbank Cottages is located east of Toronto and north of Cobourg on beautiful Rice Lake and the Trent Canal System. Springbank Cottages has five rental housekeeping cottages; four – two bedroom and one - one bedroom, all with three piece baths. Three of the cottages have wood stoves. Each cottage has a deck with gas barbeque, bottom sheets, pillows, pillow cases and blankets. WiFi and Shaw Direct Television.
We rent boats and motors, along with a choice of sailboat, paddle boat, canoe or bicycles. Billiard room, children's play area available to enjoy. 200 feet of waterfront with docks and boat launch. No docking charges. Myrna Brown cottage has 3 bedrooms and electric heat, while the Rice Lake cottage has only one bedroom but will sleep 6 persons. It has an oil stove for cooler weather. The guest cottage has a tub and the Myrna Brown has a tub. All other cottages have showers.
