Hartwell Lake East (Hartwell Dam)
An impoundment of the Savannah River, Hartwell Lake produces a stable population of largemouth bass with the average fish pushing the 2 lb mark. Hybrid Strippers average between 5 and 6-pounds, and the average black crappie is 10'' to 12'', but fish up to 3-pounds are available.

Hartwell Lake West (Beaver Dam)
Hartwell Lake west of Beaver Dam is well-known for producing outstanding largemouth bass, the average Hartwell Hybrid Striper averages 5 to 6-pounds. A healthy population of black crappie and striped bass provide loads of angling opportunities.
