Reel Obsession Charters offers world class sportfishing off the west coast of Vancouver Island. We are located in the Nootka Sound Region and moor in scenic Zeballos. Whether you are looking to find our prized Chinook(King) fishery or those dancing Coho(Silvers), the Nootka area offers some of the best fishing on the entire West Coast. Giant halibut, Snapper and Ling Cod are very plentiful and popular with our anglers as well.

Fishing:

Charters are all professionally guided with experience and knowledge. I love what I do and have been fishing these waters for years. I love to catch fish and take a great deal of pride showing my customers the thrill of experiencing World Class Sportfishing.

Equiped with 24 foot fishing machine with a brand new 225 Yamaha outboard. Along with the latest in electronics (Sea map, GPS, Black Box, Dual Sounder, VHF) and a head for the ladies, makes for a very comfortable fishing trip.

Salmon, Halibut & More:

Fish for feeder Chinook, one of the most powerful fish you will battle with on the open ocean. Specializing in light tackle, you can expect an unbeatable thrill and the finest of table fare. Anglers also enjoy catching Ling cod and Snappers, which are quite abundant in our region. These fiesty fish, are not only fun to catch but fantastic on the plate. Let's not forget about those Halibut, nothing will thrill you more than a chance to battle with a 200+lb 'Barn Door' Halibut, definitely a fishing trip to remember.

Wildlife & Attractions:

Not only does the Nootka area offer amazing fishing opportunities, but the abundance of Wildlife itself is worth the trip! With May and June bringing through the migratory Grey Whales, these magnificent mammals are some of the largest in the world.

There is always the chance of catching a pod of Orca's feeding on a school of nearby salmon. Sea Otters, Porpoise, Humpback Whales, Seals and Sea Lions are just some of the everyday occurrences we come in to contact with while on the water. Come fishing with us today, you won't be disappointed!
