TABLE ROCK LAKE, MO FISHING REPORT

Water Temp: 53-58
Lake Level: 927.21

A few days of sunshine can really make a difference.  The lake warmed up a few degrees 53-54 in the mornings warming up to 56-58 in the afternoon in the stained water, which is just about everywhere right now.

Sounds like the White River at Baxter to Shell Knob was the hot area this weekend.  Lots of fish reported being caught on spinnerbaits around and in the bushes and heavy cover.  3/8 and ½ oz. gold or painted blades white and chartreuse working best.  Fish will continue to move into the bushes now that the temperatures are rising.  We may be seeing some fish on beds by this weekend.

The dam are is producing some big smallmouths on main lake gravel and secondary points, on 4” – 5” single tailed grubs with ¼ oz. jig heads.  Fish the out in front of the trees in 10’ – 15’ of water.  The best colors would be smoke, pearl, and salt & pepper.  Look for any clearer water for this pattern.

Also split shot and Carolina rigged French fries, and Senko’s catching fish in the same areas as grubs and the green pumpkin and watermelon red are working best.

Senko’s and floating worms should also start working in the bushes.  White or Bubblegum floating worms with no weight or black neon and water melon red Senco’s
rigged wacky style.
