Trout on fire at the Beach. Thursday I had Gary Migliori onboard. Conditions were much better than I thought they would be so we headed into the Sound. At our first stop the first Trout to hit the box was a solid 5 pound fish. Fishing with croakers on the bottom we put some more pretty Trout on ice. A crew boat came and shut our bite down. We then made move and got on a good bite and finished off our limits with live shrimp under a cork. 50 pretty Trout and a fun time on the water, can’t ask for better.

Today I had Barrett Jones and his 8 year old son David Paul. I brought my youngest daughter Izabella along with us. It was great chance to get in another fishing trip before school starts. We made a few stops in the Sound and picked up some nice Trout on both shrimp and croakers. Capt. Frank called and he was on a good bite and finishing up. We headed on over and it was on. We would cast the pole out and the cork would be down before we could hand the kids the pole. When they would get tired and take a break Barrett and I got in on the fun till they were ready to fish again. We had a blast and filled the box with 100 pretty Trout.

The Trout are on and the fishing in Shell Beach is outstanding. Campo’s is open with fuel, live bait, ice, and the newly improved back down ramps are open. Nice and easy launching with helpful advice from the Campo’s is waiting for you. For your next fishing adventure call United Charters, dates are filling fast. Very nice over night accommodations are avalible. 504-439-1680.
