Greers Ferry Lake : 07-06-11

The water level at greers ferry lake is at 473.73 and falling, it is 12.7 feet above normal pool.

The hybrid and white bass continue to be on a tear as yhey are biting good durning the day as it heats up, try spoons ,in-line spinners,swimbaits,big hair jigs and grubs and use topwater baits early and late.

The bream fishing is still going real well as the full moon coming they will be spawning again, use catalpa worms, crawlers and crickets for best results, up shallow and out even to 27 feet

No-report on crappie.

The catfishing is good all over the lake, on a lot of different baits, from shallow to out on edge of river channel.

The walleye have still not gotten stable where you can call your shot, but are trying to get grouped up again in deeper water, try dragging crawlers in 12-35 feet of water

Bass fishing is good shallow early, late and the middle of the day, out deep all the time with worms, c-rigs and football heads.
