Niagara River has been fishing really for Steelhead well in both Upper and Lower reaches lately. Getting out when visibility has been good has resulted in regular good catches on roe, streamers, and minnow imitations.

Many anglers now beginning to focus their attention on the arrival of the awesome Spring King Salmon run, which should begin probably around the third week of April. Expect fast and furious inshore action once they arrive. Expect to hook up with some tasty Coho too. Crankbaits often work best for the Kings in cold water, and  flasher/peanut fly combos for the cohos.

Browns now cruising the inshore shallows, and some nice fish being caught by those targetting them. A stealthy approach, and light lines are the key to success. Cranks in orange/gold/black/silver work well. Still some charter dates available for those looking to get in on the action. Visit our site for contact details. Tight Lines.
