Lake Ontario and Niagara River

Lake Ontario producing King Salmon to almost 30lbs, and offshore schools of feisty Steelhead are making for good sport most days. Still plenty of tasty Coho in the mix too, so there's usually a bonus for the BBQ. Spoons, Spin Doctors and flies taking most fish. Worth trying dark Spin Doctors for those seeking big salmon, and orange/silver spoons for Steelhead.
Niagara River now just about unfishable because of the seasonal "moss" issues until the end of July. Once it clears up there should be plenty of Smallmouth action.
Lots of big Carp cruising the shallows too for the shore fisherman looking for a fight with big fish. Corn presented on a hair rig usually does the trick.
