Welcome:
We specialize in fishing for Northwest Salmon, Sturgeon and Steelhead. We know what to do to make sure the fishing is good and that's why we offer a FISH-ON GUARANTY. As the seasons move from winter, spring, summer, to fall so do our fishing seasons and styles. We here at J & L use only top of the line equipment. Fishing from a 23' Alumaweld Super Vee jet sled powered by YAMAHA, with a guide that holds a U.S.C.G. Masters License, WDFW licensed and a licensed Oregon fishing guide. Then add to that 20 years of fish guiding experience and that's why we can put you on the fish.

Fishing:
There is no style or technique that we will not use to make your fishing experience with us both a successful one and a memorable one.
Free drifting for Summer Run or Winter Run Steelhead with light tackle, or back trolling a plug, even flipping a spoon. When one hits you know it. Kings, Kings, Kings, be it the Lewis for Springers, Buoy 10, or Nehalem Oregon, who can turn down a shot at these fighters. Trolling is usually the show here. Once you see the rod get "hit" you can't leap fast enough to grab it and set the hook to begin the battle.

Salmon:
Here in Washington Chinook is King. From late April through May its spring Chinook time. Also known as "springers", we target the Lewis river but not necessarily limited to. With fish ranging from 15 to 25 pounds and 30+ trophy fish being caught every year, these chrome bright beauties hit the hook hard and fight, fight, fight. Light tackle provides a test for the angler and a feel for the fight.
Come August its off to Buoy 10 and the Columbia river. These fish come a bit bigger with 40+ pounders being landed. Trolling is the show here. When one hits its time to set the hook and the fight is on.

Steelhead:
January, February, and March we target winter steelhead. We target the run on the Cowlitz but not limited to that river. With fish running in the 5 to 15 pound range its time for some great fishing. June and July brings warm summer days and more "steelies" to be caught. Summer fish tend to be more aggressive and acrobatic than their winter brothers.
