Fishing Tips

Trout Patterns:

Rainbow Trout
Brown Trout
Speckled Trout

Worms or spinners work great for all three types of trout. In the hot summer months, it is best to use a weight and fish on the bottom, especially in the deeper areas of the ponds. Some depths as deep as 25 feet. Flies can also be also productive. Wooly buggers and nymphs are your best bet during the summer. Early in the morning and evening, surface flies can be deadly.

Bass Patterns:

Largemouth Bass may be found in some of the ponds. Worms and spinners can be very effective at times. Bass flies, like muddlers and surface poppers are also good baits for these aggressive fish.
